Review: Holika Holika Holy Berry Tint #03

Hello everyone. :) Currently I am quite stress about life, and the direction I want to head in to for the future. It is the turning point for me, but I still feel like I have no clue what to do. Seems like I'm having a quarter life crisis! XD But I hope I will figure it out soon. :)

No matter, my love for beauty products have not changed hehe. Today I'll be reviewing a lip tint by Holika Holika (fave korean brand at the moment!). It is a lip tint line based on colours of berries! I've here #3 the strawberry version, and I like it!

Standard tube packaging, with lovely berry designs on it.
More cute and lovely strawberry design.

Bottom,  some Korean that I cannot comprehend.  xD

It has a standard lip colour applicator.

Swatch!  The colour is of a orangey red.

Bare lips!  I feel strange putting my lips on the Internet,  but I'll probably get use to it.  xD

With lip tint application, after 2 coats.

When I first bought this lip tint,  I thought it was a true red tint,  but it turns out to be more orange than I've expected, but I'm not complaining! I really love this colour, it makes me feel happy and  it really brightens my dull lips for that pop of colour!

This lip tint is very subtle compared to other tints.  It takes me several applications for the colour to show up,  but I like the fact that it is build able for the lip gradient look.

The down falls of this tint is that it does not last long. I find after 2 hours,  the colour would almost have faded completely. Also I'm not sure if it's only mine,  but the tint sometimes leak through the cap.  Dx For that reason I am afraid to carry it around with me.

It has a sweet smell,  imitating strawberries,  but it's rather artificial.  Taste wise is the same,  but I do like that it is sweet. =P

Overall,  I would recommend this product if you like to achieve a gradient lip look,  or if you just want a hint of colour.  Would not recommend if you are looking for long lasting lip colour.

Pros

  • Pretty colour
  • Colour is build-able, good for gradient effect
  • Smells,  taste decent

Cons

  • Not long lasting
  • Product may leak out
  • Faint colour (may be pro)

If you have tried this product, please tell me how you liked it, I would love to know!
Thanks for reading this review,  I hope it helped.  =) See you next time!

  1. Since a holika holika recently opened up in my city, I've been going crazy with their products. I was especially interested in their lip stains because I'm really into the gradient lip look right now! Thanks for the review :)
