Mini Review: The Face Shop The Smim Radiating Moisturizing Cream

Hello lovely peeps~
Here is another mini review of a sample I've received  from my last haul!
Its a moisturizing cream from The Face Shop, and it's supposed to make the skin radiate! ヽ(´▽`)ノ
First time trying a skin product out from The Face Shop, let's see how it goes. :>

Front. Nice pink floral packet. ^o^

Back

Couldn't find an English version. :(

Full size: 60ml
Price: $35-45 CAD

First impression:
It's a standard moisturizer.  It didn't really make my face radiate like it implied in the name, but that might need more uses for the effect to show.  The texture is creamy and a bit oily which can be smoothed easily over skin and get absorbed quickly, but it just left a tiny bit of stickiness. It's definitely moisturizing though, and leaves my skin smooth after it's totally absorbed. I like the smell, it's light and flowery without being overpowering.  Also I wonder what does The Smim mean. (≖△≖) hehe

Will I purchase the full product?
I would say no, the price is a bit much for a face cream, at least for my budget. I didn't find much reviews on it or anyone raving about it, and from my first impression it was just a decent moisturizer, so I wouldn't shell out that much for it.

  1. Wow, the product is pretty expensive for a brand like THEFACESHOP.
Smim is a word used to describe when something soaks or penetrates. Thanks for the review~

  2. It'd have to be a pretty damn good moisturiser for me to want to pay that much. xD Think I'll give it a pass. Thanks for the review and congrats on 10000 pageviews.

Ya I couldn't find much English info on the moisturizer either, so I don't really want to take the chance and buy it. =/

  4. Some products at the TFS make my wallet cry. I grabbed samples of their waterproof and perfection BB creams but I checked the price and they were $30-40. This seems like an average product, especially for the price.

Congratulations on the 1000 views. :)

  6. I tried this sample as I got 2 thrown in with a BB cream purchase. I loved the smell and the cream looked really pretty with a pink sheen. My skin did feel moisturised but I broke out in spots everytime I tested it, shame because I thought it was going to be great for my skin, especially my dry patches.

  7. Eek maybe it's too oily for you? That's too bad, it's pretty expensive too, for the full product. But I really like the scent too :3 thanks for reading!
