Review: THE FACE SHOP Lovely me:ex Design My Eyebrow

Hello everyone hope you're enjoying your day. :D
Today I'm really excited to review this eyebrow pencil from THE FACE SHOP Lovely me:ex line! I have been using this ever since I received it and I have to say I really like it so far.

It comes in 5 different shades: Grey brown, Dark brown, Black brown, Brown, and Dark Grey. Some of them might seem a bit redundant, but I'm sure everyone with natural hair colour can find a suitable shade for themselves. :) I have the one in Dark Grey, because it I have naturally black eyebrows and it matches well with my dark black hair colour.

Well let's take a look at how it works :D
It's double ended with a pencil side and brush side.
Mustache!  :D Maybe it's hinting that your brows can be as luscious as well groomed mustaches lol.

Back, I like how it indicated which side is the brush end.

The slanted tip for precise strokes. It's easy to use and the colour goes on evenly.

The tip in from head-on view is in a triangle shape. I really like how the tip is shaped, it makes the transition from drawing thick to thin lines really smooth.

It's twistable, and this is how much product there is. There's a decent amount, if used everyday, it can probably last 6 month to a year.

The spoolie/brush. Before getting this, I thought it was going to be a brush with some brow gel. :P
But this works fine by itself. Although, my brows will start to become unruly soon after.

The colour I got is dark grey, but it's quite light, so it kind of looks dark brown on my skin. When applied with medium pressure the colour is very faint, but that creates a natural look, like the top strokes on the swatch above. When applied with heavy pressure the colour will show up more like the bottom strokes. I really like the faint colour because I won't accidentally draw on brows that's too dark and thick, and look like this:
Shin-chan 8D
ehehe ^^;

My brow ungroomed.
It's unruly, messy and hairy. (ಠ_ಠ)

Now filled in and groomed. :D
Well, it's not that much of a difference, but you can see there's less stray hairs and spaces are filled in as well.   The difference is more prominent from afar.

The colour is definitely buildable, and can easily be adjusted by the pressure of each stroke. The colour can also be softened using the brush.

The wear of this brow pencil is very long, I can wear this for a whole day and the colour will still be pretty much the same, just a tiny bit faded. Even when I rub it or tried using water to wash it off, there will still be some left unbudged. But from what I have tried, that can be said for anything I put in my brows, I think it's because of the hairs acting as a shield lol. o.O

The brush does a decent job of grooming my brows. And it does help spread the colour out more evenly. However, since it doesn't come with a gel, the effect does not last long. But I didn't expect it to anyways.

And lastly, the packaging is cute (as always :P) because of the mustache. xD
The caps on each end is not too loose or tight.

So overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone that's in need of a brow pencil. It's nothing fancy, but does it's job. But honestly, I don't think there is much that they could have messed up on. So maybe there's better ones out there that I haven't tried? Recommendations? :D

  • Angled, triangular tip for drawing thin for thick lines.
  • Long wear.
  • Soft but buildable colour.
  • Variety of colours to choose from.
  • Brush included.
  • Convenient twistable tip.
  • Cute mustache =3
  • Brush effects are short lived. (no gel)

Have you tried this product or like to? Or do you prefer powders? I would love to know. :D
Ah I have so much time to write these posts now, I feel so free. I love summer (─‿‿─).
Hopefully I can continue to post at the same rate when summer school starts, ugh almost forgot about it. -.-

Anyways, thank you all for reading! <3
