Review: Etude House Nutrifull Shea Butter Skin Care Kit + Giveaway Winner! [Sponsored]

Hello everyone! ^o^

Today I have a long over due review, this Etude House Nutrifull Skin Care Kit was sponsored by Kocomall.
Also, I'll be announcing the winner of my 110+ Readers giveaway! :D
Please check to see if you have won in the bottom of this post!

Anyways, after switching from the Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream and Essence, which I was using before, I have started using this kit for a couple of weeks now, since I wanted to see if there was any long-term effects for the skin. This kit includes an essence, a cream, and a sleeping pack.
I was very interested to see the nourishing and moisturizing effects of the Shea butter and Cloudberry, and how well it compared to the Moistfull Collagen skin care line.

If you're interested please keep reading for the review and photos! :D

Very glad the packaging contains full English instructions and ingredients. :)

10ml, 10ml, and 20ml left to right above, I'm about half way through on the essentializer and sleeping pack, but just scratched the surface of the cream.

Ok first off, the essentializer!
Small tube of "essence- in lotion", combining essence and lotion, which is to be applied after toner.

I'm not sure why I toke these photos as they don't show much, besides the fact that it's colourless and can be absorbed by the skin lol. But enjoy anyways. x)

Application/Effect/Scent
It's a light cream, that feels very moisturizing on the skin. It get absorbed into the skin easily and leaves a soft silky feeling, and not sticky at all. It does feel oilier than the Moistfull Collagen Essence, since it is combined with lotion. But it feels really nice applying it right after washing my face, as it moisturizes really well, so well that I don't think it's necessary to go through the next steps. xP
The scent is a very light Shea butter scent I suppose, and I love the calming and mildness of it.

Next step is the Cream!
The little tub is actually quite shallow, and the bottom is mostly hollow.

Thicker than the essentializer.

Application/Effect/Scent
This cream is very thick and moisturizing, you would only need a pea sized amount for the whole face, that's why it's taking me the longest time to finish this. I feel this is just a thicker version of the essentializer. It seals in every inch of my skin and makes me feel like I have a protective barrier around my face. xD It is a little bit sticky, and takes longer to absorb.
Compared to the Moistfull Collagen, this is so much more thicker and is of an oil base rather than water.
The scent is a stronger version of Shea butter than the essentializer, but still very calming and mellow. I find it to be a great scent to sleep in. x)

Last step, the sleeping pack!
Slightly bigger tube.

Application/Effect/Scent
The sleeping pack has to my least favourite out of the kit. While it doesn't feel as thick as the cream, it doesn't get absorbed easily, and just 'sits' on my face. I know it's a sleeping pack and is supposed to be absorbed slowly at night, but I feel like it's suffocating my skin, and it's a bit sticky too. D: And it makes my face feel greasy the whole night. In the morning though, it's mostly absorbed, and my face do feel moisturized and smooth after I rinse it off.
The scent is like the other two mild Shea butter, but this also has a bit of artificial-ness to it as well. Personally, I don't like sleeping packs/masks in general, but I think this would be great if you have dry skin.

Overall
If you have dry skin I think this is a great kit to moisturize at night. The Essentializer and Cream feels rich and moisturizing, but adding on the sleeping pack is just too thick for my liking. Since I have normal skin, I feel that this kit is a bit too oily for me, especially during warmer seasons. I haven't seen much long-term improvements yet, but it does make my skin feel moisturized every time I use it. I still prefer the Moistfull Collagen Essence and Cream for now.

Pros
  • Very moisturizing, great for dry skin
  • Skin feels smooth in mornings
  • Essentializer is not sticky
  • Calming scent
Cons
  • Cream and sleeping pack feels a bit sticky
  • Not suitable for oily skin

  4. Then Essentializer is first, then use cream, then sleeping pack, and yes you use them before sleep to let your skin slowly absorb through the night!
And in the morning you can wash any excess sleeping pack off!
    Hope it helped! :D
