Hope you are having a nice day. :)
Today I want to review a product that I've had for a long time, and really love!~
There's a lot of raving reviews on this Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint already, but I just want to share my love for it too. xD
Etude House has recently came out with 2 new limited edition colours in this line, lavender and coral, and they look SO pretty, but I'm afraid the lavender won't look good on my skin tone and I already have a similar coral/orange tint from Peripera. So tempting though!~
This creamy lip tint helps to add moisturize, and retain moisture on the lips for hours. With bright and energetic colours to choose from, this tint adds volume and nutrients to the lips such as: Shea butter, Acerola extract, and berry extract. Each contain 4 grams of product.
There is a total of 4 colours to choose from:
-RD301 Red (The one I have)
-OR201 Peach-PK002 Hot pink
and 2 limited editions:
-PP501 Lavender (So pretty *_*)
-Info from Cosmetic Jolse
Cute packaging once again from Etude House.~
Doe foot applicator, very similar to the Peripera milky tints!
I was trying to wipe it off after swatching it, and look at the stain it gave, it was difficult to remove but I really like that it leaves a subtle stain on the lips too. :)
I should have used some concealer on my lips for the gradient effect, but it's very easy to spread and super creamy! Also I bit my lip on the side and it's healing. >.<
This is one of my favourite lip tints so far!~ I really do enjoy creamy lip tints more than watery kinds, since they add moisture, and a bit of shine, this one is no exception! :D
The colour of this tint is a reddish pink, even though it's supposed to be a cherry red, it's not a true red, but a darker pink. The colour is very vibrant as you can see in the swatch, and very pigmented, so even if you have pigmented lips like me, the colour will still show up! I also find there are two ways to use this lip tint (and not just the gradient and full types); a bold look by applying this fully on your lips, even layering it a bit, for a glossy and almost lip stick-like. Another way is to just use a bit and spread it out, and just let the tint sink in. And from the swatches, it really does leave a nice sheer tint afterwards. So this product is very versatile.~
The application of this product is a dream!~ It's the usual doe foot applicator, and since the product is very creamy, it glides on the lips super smooth and evenly. And unlike some water tints, you have more time to spread it out without it drying out too fast, which makes this very easy to use. It doesn't sink into lip-lines even after a few hours.
The wear of this is really great too, you'll get the glossy creamy look for a couple of hours, then it kind of dries out, and you're left with the tint on your lips. I personally don't mind the fading of the glossy look, I prefer the tint it gives. But depending on the look you want you can use more for longer lasting glossiness. I would say the tint would last almost the entire day, if touched minimally. As for the moisturizing effects, it does seem to moisturize my lips, and the effect stays for a couple of hours and fades along with the glossiness.
Finally, the scent is cherry, a fruity, and tangy type. And usually I'm not a big fan of cherry flavoured/scented things, but this I really like! The packaging is bright and pretty cute too.~
-Pigmented and vibrant
-Easy to use
-Doesn't dry out too fast
-Long lasting tint
Overall, similar to the Peripera Milky tints, this is type of creamy lip tints are my favourite, and this Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint #RD301 is probably even more pigmented. I love this and maybe I'll get the rest some day when I have extra moonies to spend. :D
Have you tried this tint? What's your favourite colour?
Thanks for reading~ :)
